Stays attached
The integrated wire gate keeps the whole tool on your pack and within reach. Because retracing two miles of trail is a bad tradition.
The Rip Clip is a compact titanium pipe with a built-in wire gate. Clip it to your pack, and there’s one less loose piece to leave on a rock.
Most pipes are made to sit somewhere. The Rip Clip is made to go somewhere. Its body and gate form one integrated tool, so the piece you use is the piece you clip on.
The benefit isn’t abstract: The Rip Clip combines the pipe and attachment point, uses titanium to keep weight down, and removes the obvious failure mode of glass. The current prototype is being built to prove the rest.

Glass is great until it meets a rock at trail speed. The Rip Clip’s titanium body removes that particular problem.
Titanium is valued for its strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and use in demanding applications. Those are useful material qualities.

That’s the ambition. Prototype testing gets the final word.
We’re still testing the Rip Clip, which means the useful details are still changing. Join for field notes, design updates, and first access when the opening batch is ready.
